My name is Steve Selway. I was born and raised in Dillon, Montana so I grew up fishing the Beaverhead, Big Hole, and Madison rivers. I am a Veterinary surgeon specializing in thoroughbred racehorse injuries and an admitted perfectionist. While in Chile almost 30 years ago examining racehorses for import to the USA, I became aware of the PUMA mothership/floating lodge in Lago Yelcho. I found the fishing to be amazing (similar to what my grandfather had described about Montana in the first half of the twentieth century). In 1998 I became a partner in PUMA FISHING LTDA. and we built the land based lodge. Due to my partner, Juan Carlos Edwards' declining health, I have become sole owner of PUMA FISHING LTDA. and pledge to not only continue the high level of fishing service quality -- but to improve and adapt to our client's needs -- case in point the new PUMA. With the uniqueness of having the mothership/yacht and the land based lodge we have the diversity to make your visit "A TRIP OF A LIFETIME". Being one of the very first operations in this area we have the knowledge and staff that it takes to make your stay memorable and hopefully a return quest!
